Registered Washington State Professional Engineer Albert Martinez
A registered Washington State professional engineer since 1990, Albert Martinez has functioned in the role of construction inspection manager with the City of Greeley in Colorado since 2018. He has effectively managed numerous projects through the city’s Construction Services Program and the City of Greeley Rights of Way. As a municipal leader, his responsibilities range from street, sewer, and other construction projects to managing the city’s staff of engineers, construction inspectors, and technicians. Albert Martinez previously spent almost four years with Holly Frontier Refining, LLC, as an environmental engineer tasked to ensure effluent flow rates and stormwater discharge flow rates met National Pollution Discharge Elimination Standards and were within limits set by the Department of Environmental Quality and other government agencies.
Albert Martinez was part of the wrestling teams of the United States Air Force Academy and the University of Wyoming. He completed his engineering education at Oklahoma State University, earning a master of science in environmental engineering with a 4.0 GPA. When he is not managing construction projects and resources for Greeley, Colorado, he enjoys trout fishing and bow hunting for antelope and deer.
